We rented a space at the Life Storage on RT 22 Mountainside, NJ. First we would like to thank Robert for help in selecting the right unit and the tour of the facility. Second Robert made filling out the paperwork very easy and quick. Robert made sure as we went through the paperwork that we understood everything. We are very happy with everything.

I canﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t say enough positive things about my experience at Life Storage! Reserving a unit online was quick and easy. When I went to the facility for the first time, I had the pleasure of meeting Robert, who was INCREDIBLY helpful, thorough, and friendly. He walked me through everything I needed to know about my unit and personally accompanied me there the first time to make sure I knew exactly where to go, how to activate the security gate, how to use the lock, where to find the handcarts, etc. The personalized service I received at Life Storage from Robert was truly exceptional and I am so happy I chose to store my things there! A+++++++!

Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢ve called several times with questions even during office hours but get voicemail. I was locked out one night, oh well. Didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t get a return call until the next day. Called at 3:50 pm during office hours on a weekday to make sure Iﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢d have access on Christmas Eve since we stores our presents there, no return call until the next day. I got another apologetic voicemail from them. I returned the call within minutes from their call, but nobody answered at 11:30 am. I donﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t sit by a phone in an office all day. My phone is off while I teach. It is very frustrating that this facility doesnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t pick up the phone even during daytime hours or call back until the next day. Never again. I will shop around next year for a differently owned facility and ask a lot of questions prior to my rental.

This storage facility has a very nice manager, who I believe is named May. She is very supportive and the facility seems to be run well. I had no problems except for there being some dirt around the elevator unit.

When we used this service to find a storage unit, Mae, who works at Life Storage, called us the same day to ensure that all was good and we have no questions about move in day. As the day got closer (as I picked a little over a week away), Mae called back to ensure we were still keeping our reservation and that we didn't have any questions. She was very nice, thorough and polite. She made the whole process super easy! The place was super clean, while I wish we could afford a little bit of a bigger unit, this place still has some of the best prices around.
