Horrible experience. Had no idea where to go until employees showed up --showed up late btw. Ghetto, dirty, confusing place. Giant creepy maze. felt like the type of place people get murdered and left for dead. You need signs that tell people where to go. Employees were actually decently helpful. One told me she put up signs but management took them down. So better leadership is needed clearly as well.

I had doubts about many of the storage facilities in the Greater Metro NY/NJ area. Some do not offer 24-hr. access; few offer access from 6 a.m.to 10 p.m. They are usually too far from me to make them feasible because of numerous tolls to pay to get to them. Late last night I came across Storage Rentals of America. No matter how nice things look online, it is always advisable to actually go to the site, take a tour, and meet the manager and staff. I was able to do that without incurring any tolls. I was familiar with the area because last year I worked in Belleville and thought it was a great town offering a storage facility from the past. I was told that at one time this turn-of-the-century building housed a candle making factory. There is ample parking. The store manager, Christina, made me feel right at home. As mandated, she followed the protocols of mask-wearing, social distancing and use of hand sanitizer, which was available to anyone in various areas of the facility. Christina is on top of her game. She really knows her business from easily quoting prices according to unit size and making friendly eye contact to going over the steps needed to secure a rental unit from A to Z. She even took the time to give me a tour of this massive edifice that has landmark status and only recently was converted with the proper care to a storage facility so badly needed for city dwellers. Safety is always an issue, and I am glad that this facility has CCTV monitors throughout. I like the fact that they are able to discount the unit if you provide your own insurance to cover loss from either fire or theft. Their rentals are month-to-month; they do not lock you into any long-term contract. One caveat: they do not have public restrooms but are in the process of filling that demand. Overall, you could not find a better place where the employees really go above and beyond, making this a worthwhile experience for all. Thank you, Christina.

They are horrible, they will increase once you move-in, anytime I went to the storage trash is everywhere.. I will never rent from this place again and the office will never call you back.

Very friendly staff and very clear on the pricing. Itﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢s a nice place for the value of money. Was perfect location for me as I live 1 mile away from it. Was shown the facility and made aware of all the entrance and exists. I didnﾃ｢竄ｬ邃｢t find any hidden charges. Instead I got a nice discount. I am yet to move my stuff and see atleast one season before I update my review

price, location and cleanliness are great. you just need to get more carts because i just moved in and i could not find a cart. management had to find me a cart. this is time consuming and counterproductive. staff is great. need carts asap. thank you.

Only thing that troubles me are the freight elevators but I'm happy I chose this facility. The staff is friendly and helpful. My unit is perfect. The price is excellent as well. All in all, this is a really good storage facility.

I rented a 5x5 unit without climate control. When I went to move my belongings in there were no carts readily available for use and the facility was not extremely busy. Once I got to the 5th floor where my unit was located then I found a hand cart. Although there are EXIT signs located in the facility it was difficult to locate the freight and regular elevator. I would suggest more signage indicating where the elevators are located so that one does not get lost in the facility.

I needed a storage unit and had limited time to get it. I contact self storage which helped me find storage rentals of America in Belleville. They contacted me right away through email with a confirmation code and then storage rentals of America contacted me the next day to confirm my information. Once I got there the process was fast, they explained everything in details, and gave me a tour. It was a great experience. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely continue to use them.

I think you need to improve customer service part of your company. I was never once treated rude but when I was there I saw customer getting treated very poorly. Weather customer are right or wrong this should never happen nor your customer should be treated with such disrespect.
